Bali Major 2023 akan menjadi rangkaian seri major ketiga dalam DOTA Pro Circuit (DPC) yang sudah berjalan di beberapa region.
Indonesia terpilih menjadi tuan rumah di mana Bali akan menjadi kota penyelenggara. Pertama kali sejak tahun 2018, event major DOTA 2 kembali diadakan.
Bali Major 2023 akan menjadi seri turnamen major terakhir dari musim kompetisi 2023 dalam DOTA Pro Circuit sebelum menyambut The International 2023 nantinya.
Turnamen Bali Major juga menjadi kesempatan terakhir, bagi seluruh tim-tim yang telah lolos kualifikasi untuk mendulang poin DPC.
Mereka akan bersaing dengan sengit mengingat bahwa inilah kesempatan terakhir bagi setiap tim yang masih membutuhkan poin untuk bisa lolos ke The International 2023.
Jadwal Bali Major, format, dan hasil pertandingan
Turnamen Bali Major akan terbagi dalam dua tahap, yang pertama Group Stage dan dilanjutkan dengan babak Playoff. 18 tim akan terbagi ke dalam 2 grup yang akan menentukan langkah dan perjalanan tim tersebut di babak playoff.
Babak Group Stage akan dimainkan dengan format single round-robin di mana masing-masing tim akan bermain dalam pertandingan best of two (BO2) series. 4 tim teratas akan melangkah ke Upper Bracket di babak playoff.
Selebihnya akan mengisi lower bracket di babak playoff dan tiga tim terbawah akan tereliminasi dari Bali Major.
